Golden Kickers Won 57 Medals!

We are super excited to let you know that our Golden Kickers have joined the 4th Scotland Open Taekwondo Poomsae and Speed Kicking Championships 2024 , representing Cayman Islands and competed together with +450 Taekwondo athletes from 25 countries across the globe. We all grabbed 57 medals ; consisting of 35 Golds, 13 silvers, and 9 Bronzes as well as made Golden Kick Taekwondo Cayman Islands the Champion Team and chosen to be the Most Disciplined Team!

In this opportunity, we would like to extend our gratitude to the parents and the guardians for the kind and continuous support. Together we can achieve more.

We are delighted to share this wonderful news of our Golden Kickers who competed on December 9, 2023 in the 1st Cayman's National Taekwondo Tournament organized by the Cayman Islands Taekwondo Federation. These amazing athletes won 14 Gold Medals! Yes!!!

Outstanding Golden Kickers' Performance in the 2021 Virtual US World Open and Para Championships, 3 - 11 April 2021

Four Golden Kickers Represented The Cayman Islands at
The 2021 Virtual US World Open and Para Championships.
Brought Home 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze Medals!

This is a landmark event to celebrate the World Virtual Taekwondo Festival Championships from April 3 - 11, 2021 organized by US World Class Taekwondo Association & GCS Portland, USA Chapter.

Golden Kick Taekwondo registered four participants for representing the Cayman Islands in this Championships.
They are Raga Krishtyan, Ananda Fadhila Krishtyan, Ardra Maulana Krishtyan, and Amnan Aryanta Krishtyan.

Competing on the 1st Day on 3 April 2021, Raga Krishtyan performed Koryo Poomsae in the Black Belt 41 - 50 Male Division, and brought home a bronze medal.

Ananda Nesha Krishtyan performed in Black Belt Junior 15-17 Female A Division and finished third place with a bronze medal.

Performing on the same day in Black Belt Cadet 12-14 Male A Division, Ardra Maulana Krishtyan reached the second place and earned a silver medal.

Amnan Aryanta Krishtyan performed on the third day which was held on 11 April 2021. He successfully won the first place and earned a gold medal.

On 15 November - 15 December 2020 Golden Kickers had the honour to represent the Cayman Islands on the first Online World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.

There are more than 1500 athletes from 98 countries competed for titles in this Online 2020 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.

The event was split into two divisions:

Online World Taekwondo G2 Poomsae Championships (G2 Division) - open to athletes who are members of national teams
Online World Taekwondo Open Poomsae Championships (Open Division) - open to cadets, juniors, families and others of all ages

In the Open Division, Golden Kickers got the chance to represent the Cayman Islands in the several categories:

Family Pair Category - Represented by Raga Krishtyan, Ardra Maulana Krishtyan, and Ananda Fadhila Krishtyan
Father & Son Pair Category - Represented by Raga Krishtyan and Amnan Aryanta Krishtyan
Siblings Category - Represented by Ardra Maulana Krishtyan and Ananda Fadhila Krishtyan

These proud Golden Kickers got satisfying scores.

Moreover, Raga and Amnan Krishtyan managed to go to Semifinals.

More Medals Earned by Golden Kickers in The World Championships Representing The Cayman Islands

The 2020 World Virtual Taekwondo Festival is an online competition held on October 10-11 and 17-18, and organized by US World Class Taekwondo together with MASTKD. This is a charity event to give the chance to everyone to keep competing online, and profit is donated to GCS International.

In this event, World Taekwondo and Organizing Committee rules governed, emphasizing on fairness and traditional martial arts values. World Taekwondo International Referees officiated for all events, and all athletes will be officiated by a jury of 3-5 World Taekwondo International Referees that are selected from all parts of the world.

The COVID-19 Limitations Did Not Limit Golden Kickers to win Medals for the Cayman Islands

The COVID-19 GCS Virtual International Taekwondo Championships is the First Online Taekwondo Championships, which was held on
June 4-7, 2020 Pacific Time.
The event was organized by the GCS International Portland, USA Chapter and the U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association, and was supported by GCS International, MasTKD and other Taekwondo Bodies.

This 4-day virtual taekwondo event drew over 300 athletes from 20 participating countries: Aruba, Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Jordan (Humanitarian Taekwondo Center), Korea (GCS Global Taekwondo Peace Corps members), Malaysia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Panama, Russia, Sri Lanka, Turkey and the United States.

In this virtual championships, the categories featured are:

Individual Freestyle Poomsae
Pairs Poomsae,
Team Poomsae
